KS1 classes had the opportunity of participating in a Colouring Competition as part of the Half Term Party activities. Such a high standard of creativity and talent, the Yr 5 School Councillors who judged the KS1 Winners had a very difficult task selecting the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize Winners for the KS1 Colouring Competition.

Thank you to Miss Rennie and Mrs Boreland for the digital, fun announcement produced for each class the last day of term.

A huge thanks to the School Counciilors in Yr 5 & Yr 6 for judging all the entries in KS1.

Finally thank you to all the boys and girls taking such great interest in participating in our KS1 Half Term Fun Colouring Competition.

Many thanks,

Mrs Murphy.

Head of KS1.

This morning, Year 4 completed a Survey of the houses in the Local Neighbourhood. The boys and girls recorded using tally marks, the number of the different types of homes, identified as detached, semi- detached, terraced, flat, or other.
The boys and girls in Mrs Murphy's class really enjoyed learning at first hand today about the local homes on our school doorstep.
Many thanks to all Year 4 boys and girls in Mrs Murphy's, Mrs McNaughton's and Mrs Mack's Yr 4 classes, and to all the staff and classroom assistants in Yr 4 for such a great morning, outdoors.

Thanks,

Mrs Murphy.

Head of KS1.

Mr Alex Baird came to talk to Year 3 and S & L about what school was like in the 1950's. We found out that there were only 42 children in the whole school and he had to walk a mile to get there.
