Year 7 Hoodies
Dear Parent/Carer
Following the success of previous years, we are offering our current Year 7s the chance to order a leavers’ hoodie in the school colours. There will be a choice of colour for the inside of the hood.
Year 7 pupils can wear their hoodies at break and lunchtime. Please note we are very proud of how smart our pupils look in their full school uniform, so the hoodies will not replace our current sweatshirt/cardigan.
On the front of the hoodie will be the school logo and an option for your child’s initials. We recommend intials only to be printed rather than a name for the safeguarding of your child. On the back there will be the first names of all the Year 7 pupils.
Cost of the Hoodie
The cost of the hoodie starts at £23.59 with an additional charge of £3.00 for added initials.
This year we will be using an online company to produce our Year 7 Hoodies. You will need to order your child’s hoodie by visiting the link below. Please see the size guide on the website to help you select the appropriate size. The online shop wil now close on 10th April. Please note orders received after this date will be more expensive.

Year 7NT have had a very busy term! We have been busy with lots of activities and work linked to our topic 'Are you wise?' and through our topic we have also been thinking about the end of our time at primary school and our transition onto post primary school.
One of the things we have been enjoying participating in this term has been the Terex Young Engineering Programme which involved lots of learning about engineering and gave the children a chance to work together as a team to design and build a conveyor belt.
Year 7 also had a great morning at Streetwise and had the opportunity to learn about lots of aspects of health and safety through the police, fire service, council, coastguard, translink and Tesco to name a few. The children learnt everything from CPR, road safety , fire safety through to how much sugar was in different drinks!
Year 7 also enjoyed the chance to design and build a Space Landing Station through the Year 7 Technology challenge. They also enjoyed their week of school trips and got to learn lots about the local area on the day they went orienteering and canoeing on the River Bann.
What a busy term it has been!

Year 7 today, Wednesday 22nd May, participated in the Annual Technology Challenge Competition. The Challenge, set by Mrs Murphy, was to design and build a Space Landing Station. Pupils had to discuss and share design ideas, draw and label their designs and then use the materials provided to construct their Space Landing Station. Great Teamwork was displayed this morning during this Technology Challenge and fantastic creative designs were successfully achieved by all Teams today. Well done Year 7! 🎉
Thank you for all your creative designs in the Technology Challenge.👏😊
