This term, Year 6 will be learning about the Ancient Egyptians. As part of our Communication lesson, we have begun exploring instructional writing.
To help the pupils become familiar with this style of writing, we followed a set of instructions to make Egyptian honey and date snack balls. The process involved chopping, mashing, mixing and rolling a variety of ingredients.
The pupils thoroughly enjoyed making their snacks and following the method step by step. However, the final creations received mixed reviews when it came to taste!
