We had a very exciting trip walking to the Post Office to post our Santa Letters that we made last week.

Year 1KO’N Post Santa Letters

In Year 1 KO’N, we had fun making Santa letters! We picked out what we wanted for Christmas, found pictures in magazines, and wrote our letters. Then we sealed them in envelopes and walked to the Post Office to send them all the way to Santa.

Y6OBCH Famine Cottages

Over the last two weeks we have been looking at the work of Irish artist JP Rooney. We created our own art in a similar style to look like Irish Famine cottages from the 1800s. We used pastels on card, blocks of colour and outlined each item we drew, which is a typical technique used by JP Rooney.
