Eight budding tennis players represented our school today at the Paul Logan Tennis Coaching: Inter-Primary Schools Tennis Tournament, held at Ulster University Sports Centre, Coleraine.
All the games were singles matches with an intense five minute play period in which serving alternated and the aim was to score as many points as possible. We saw great quality matches with some powerful rallies and nifty work at the net. Each and every member of our team put in a brilliant effort with one of our P7 girls winning her group and another receiving a special mention for her helpfulness to an umpire. The players all conducted themselves well and showed great sportsmanship.
What a fantastic day! Our thanks to Paul, our coach Dillon, Maria and everyone at Paul Logan Tennis who worked so hard to make it such an enjoyable event.
