Sharing this surprise, wonderful news after attending the Eco-Schools Causeway Coast and Glens Award Ceremony, held in Ballymoney Town Hall on Monday 8th June 2026.
At the end of the Eco-Schools Causeway Coast and Glens Awqard Ceremony, I received the Eco Teacher of the Year Award 2025-26
Thank you to everyone and to the entire school community for your involvement in the various eco projects over the years. Your collective efforts have played a vital role in our school being recognised with the Ambassador Eco-Schools Award for 2025–2028, Green Flag Award for 2026-2028 and with my Eco Teacher of the Year Award 2025-2026.
I have greatly enjoyed both taking part in and leading our school’s Eco-Schools initiatives and projects this year, as well as throughout my time here as WAU and Eco-Schools Leader.
Thank you to everyone for your enthusiasm, support, and continued interest in all Eco-Schools activities within the Green Flag Programme
