‘Designed for Integration’ Card Design Competition
We would like to share a creative art competition that your child may wish to take part in at home.
Entries are now open for ‘Designed for Integration’, a greetings card design competition held in memory of Brian Garrett, who played an important role in the development of Integrated Education.
Children are invited to design the front cover of a greetings card inspired by the theme:
“What Integrated Education Means to Me.”
The competition is open to pupils in:
- Foundation Stage & Key Stage 1
- Key Stage 2
Winning designs will be professionally printed and used as official Integrated Education Fund (IEF) greetings cards. Schools with a winning entry will also receive a voucher for art supplies, and winners will be invited to a celebration event at the Carson Awards Showcase in October 2026.
Deadline for entries:
Friday 29 May at 12 noon
Entry guidance:
- Artwork should be A5 size (half an A4 page), portrait or landscape
- Designs should be suitable for a multi?purpose greetings card
- A completed covering form must be included with each entry
How to submit entries:
Entries should be submitted either:
- As a scanned copy emailed as an attachment to molly@ief.org.uk, or
- As a hard copy posted to:
