Ballymoney Model IPS faced Harpur's Hill PS in the Doherty Cup semi-final today in a fantastic high-scoring match that had absolutely everything.
 
Both teams gave everything in normal time, the score locked 2-2 in a match that saw Ballymoney Model twice come back from a goal behind.
 
There was further drama in extra time with Harpur's Hill taking a 3-2 lead but Ballymoney Model came back again, scoring an excellent free kick to make it 3-3!
 
Penalty drama followed with both teams and their coaches feeling the nerves. Harpur's Hill won the penalty shootout which meant the end of the road for Ballymoney Model by the finest of margins.
 
Both teams played with great determination. Ballymoney Model demonstrated great teamwork work and attitude, with one player scoring a memorable hat-trick.
 
We are proud of our team's performance and wish Harpur's Hill PS all the best in the Doherty Cup final.
