P4/5 Football Finalists! Causeway Sports Academy Winter Cup 2026

Our P4/P5 football team had a fantastic day at Score in Coleraine, finishing as runners-up in the Causeway Sports Academy Winter Cup 2026!   Thirteen schools competed overall and in a group with Millburn, Lislagan, Garryduff, Castleroe and Dunseverick, our team won four games out of five, qualifying for the semi-final.   We met a very good St Colum's PS team in our semi-final match, but the boys played some slick football and showed great tenacity, progressing to the final with a 2-0 win.   Millburn PS took the lead in a very tense final, but the boys fought back to level the match. With the final tied 1-1 at full-time, the winner was decided on penalties and sadly we lost the shootout.   We are extremely proud of our team. They demonstrated great teamwork and played some excellent football. They can take great pride in how they represented our school.   Congratulations to Millburn PS on their final success.
