Outdoor learning - Mrs Mack’s class
30th Apr 2026
This week, Mrs Mack's class made the most of our beautiful school grounds by enjoying a range of outdoor activities in the glorious sunshine. The pupils explored signs of spring by visiting the school pond and observing changes to the trees, including new buds and fresh green leaves, as well as spotting daffodils and bluebells.
They prepared their class flowerbed for planting by doing some weeding, with the therapy dog, Rosie, keeping a close eye on everyone’s hard work. The children were delighted to discover some minibeasts along the way!
The fun continued as pupils dressed up as butterflies and bees, using their imaginations to search for flowers, before finishing the week with exercise on the fitness trail and by taking part in the Mini London Marathon.
