On Friday 12th June, we had a special Weatherbies visit to our school from a STEM Ambassador, Mr Fleming and his team assistant Naoishe. It was amazing to find out that Mr Peter Fleming and his family have created all the stories and resources for Weatherbies!
Peter and Naoishe presented the Weatherbies to pupils in Foundation Stage in Yr 1 and Yr 2 classes and to Mrs Mack’s class, in the Assembly Hall, on Friday afternoon. Mrs Mack’s class were particularly interested and keen to meet the creator and author of Weatherbies, following their Term 2 WAU Thematic classwork and topic link with the Weatherbies.
A huge thank you to the STEM Ambassador Mr Peter Fleming and to Naoishe, for volunteering their time to present the Weatherbies to our school on Friday and for their kind donation of two Weatherbies storybooks.
