Miss Hemphill’s class have been learning all about milk and products made from milk. We have also explored what farming was like in the past. After discovering that the farmer’s wife made butter from milk we gave it a go. We had to shake the cream in the tub and we observed as it changed from a liquid to a solid. After each round of shaking we opened the tub to observe the changes. Great scientific enquiry Year One!
