As part of a Rights Respecting School, Year 3 took some time to explore Article 24 from the UNCRC - Every child has the right to the best possible health. Governments must provide good quality healthcare, clean water, nutritious food, and a clean environment and education on health and well-being, so that children can stay healthy. Richer countries must help poorer countries achieve this.
After watching a video on the work that Water Aid carries out, we went outside to see how difficult it would be to carry water from one place to another. We all agreed that we are thankful to have access to clean water at home and at school!
