On Friday, our class visited the outdoor classroom space. We used the teaching area to discuss where we might find symmetrical patterns similar to our 2D shapes. We examined the environment and collected some photographs and items which were symmetrical, including the patio tiles, leaves, logs and other wooden equipment.
