Year 6OBCH pupils took part in the Place2Be Assembly, which focused on this year’s theme: belonging. The session encouraged pupils to think about what it really means to belong, how we can develop a sense of belonging ourselves and the ways we can help others feel included and valued.
The children engaged in lots of thoughtful discussion, sharing examples of times they have felt part of a group and reflecting on the small actions we can all take to make others feel welcome. We explored how kindness, empathy and noticing others’ feelings can make a big difference.
