Congratulations on receiving a place for your child at Ballymoney Model Integrated Primary School. This area of the website is made especially for new Year 1 pupils and their parents/carers who will be joining our school family in September 2023.

The purpose of this page is to provide you with information about your child’s introduction to Ballymoney Model Integrated Primary School. This information and accompanying photos/video complement the School Prospectus which is issued to all new parents/carers. We hope the transition to Year 1 is a happy, fun, and enjoyable experience for all.

Our ethos at Ballymoney Model Integrated Primary School is to be a caring and stimulating school where everyone is welcomed and celebrated. We work together to create an inclusive environment where children are supported to reach their full potential. We endeavour to enhance our place at the heart of the local community.

The Year 1 Team

At Ballymoney Model Integrated we aim to provide a high-quality education through a broad and balanced curriculum meeting the requirement of the NI Curriculum.

Our aim for each pupil is:

• to develop a sense of responsibility, good citizenship and social awareness.
• to develop intellectually, physically, culturally, morally and spiritually.
