Year 7NT End of Year School Trips

Year 7 enjoyed a great week of fantastic weather for their end of year school trips. We started on Tuesday with a fun day in school, on Wednesday we went orienteering and canoeing with Causeway Adventures. On Thursday we had a day out in Portrush with a visit to the park and the coastal centre and on Friday we visited the Lake in Kilrea. The Year 7’s all had a great time.

The pupils in 7RR had a fantastic time participating in their various Leavers’ Week trips. The pupils had the opportunity to go to Portrush Coastal Centre, the park, The Lake in Kilrea and Causeway Adventures. They enjoyed orienteering, bush craft, archery and canoeing in Downhill and Coleraine. They were very lucky as the sun was shining for their trips!

Year 5 participated in the Science & Technology Challenge this morning. The boys and girls worked brilliantly together in teams to design and construct a “Marble Maze Game,” with specific criteria and dimensions. There was a tremendous buzz of excitement and super creativity shown by Year 5. Congratulations to all the Teams, as each Marble Maze Game was designed and made successfully....

Year 6 participated in the Science & Technology Challenge on Wednesday. The boys and girls worked brilliantly together in Teams to design and construct a bridge with specific criteria and materials. Miss Hemphill’s class have been learning o’clock on an analogue clock. We created large clocks on the playground and worked in groups to play ‘Show me’ with o’clock times.
