Ballymoney Model IPS is participating in the walk Wheel Cycle Trust, BIG   WALK and WHEEL CHALLENGE   Monday 23rd - Friday 27th March 2026. Take part by walk, wheel, scoot or cycle to school as many times as you can during these five days. Each morning, the number of Active Travel journeys to our school will be recorded. Mrs Boyle’s class enjoyed a brilliant Science Week! They researched Irish scientist Sir Francis Beaufort and created fact files about his life. Inspired by his wind scale, they designed and tested their own wind turbines using a hair dryer. The class also joined a BBC Live Space Lesson, exploring exciting ideas about our solar system.
