This month we have been really blessed with some famous and talented visitors to our school. Communication leader Mrs Mack organised a visit from local author Paddy Donnelly. The author talked to pupils about the background to his writing and about the 31 books he has published. 3NMCA - Planting flowers for the Council

We were delighted to be involved in the hanging basket project ran by the Causeway Coast and Glenns Council. Pupils in 3NMCA enjoyed getting their hands dirty and planting colourful flowers in hanging baskets to be displayed in Ballymoney main street. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to contribute to the community and help make our town even more colourful.

This week we marked Allergy Awareness Week by looking at information on allergies and food labelling. We then took part in a quiz to test our learning. Finally we learnt how to use an epi-pen and the children were able to have a go using one.

Key Stage One had a special Storytime session with the Author Paddy Donnelly.The boys and girls and staff all enjoyed listening to the books read by this famous local author.
