Congratulations : Renewal of Eco- Schools International Green Flag Award: Ballymoney Model IPS

On Tuesday 10th June, some of our year 4 representatives of our school  Eco Committee along with our Eco- Schools Leader, Mrs Murphy, attended the special, Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council, presentation NI
Eco- Schools Award Ceremony, held at Ballymoney Town Hall.

Congratulations to Ballymoney Model, IPS for being awarded its’ 6th Eco- Schools Green Flag Award, led by the Eco- Schools Leader, Mrs Murphy.

Eco- Schools NI, at the Causeway Coast & Glens Presentation Award Ceremony, praised Ballymoney Model IPS, for their NI Eco- Schools Topic Programme, being so well inter- linked and the school also received high praise for its’  achievements in Eco- Schools NI Programme of NI Initiatives in Biodiversity, Outdoor Learning, Healthy Eating , Recycling Food Projects and Well -Being initiated in our School Garden Outdoors. 

Thank you to the support of our Principal Mrs Jamison, the Board of Governors, teaching and non- teaching staff, Parents/ Carers and to the wider school community for all of your on- going continued support and interest, which is so essential and important to the Renewal of the Eco- Schools Green Flag Award Programme in N.I.

Also, a huge thank you to the keen interest and support this year of our Schools’ Building Supervisor, Mr Johnston to the S& L classroom assistant Mrs Waide, and to our Principal, Mrs Jamison and to our Vice- Principal, Mr Clarke, for their tremendous interest and help in our school garden this year.
