Today as part of our topic on Ancient Egypt, we learnt about the mummification process. In our Forest Friday session, we learnt to mummify oranges in a similar way. We scooped out the insides of the orange through the incision, we filled the inside with a mix of salt and bicarbonate of soda and then wrapped the oranges tightly in bandages. In a month, we will open the bandages to check out our mummified oranges!
