A special assembly this afternoon on the 8th May, was led by Rev Park to commerate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. The History and meaning of VE Day was discussed in an interactive way with the pupils. Rev Park was most impressed with the pupils’s knowledge and answers related to VE Day and recital from memory of a verse from ST. John’s Gospel. Everyone joined the wonderful singing and following the actions as Rev Park played his accordion. The assembly concluded with Prayers. Finally, Rev Park, kindly gave every boy and girl in Assembly, a special edition of John’s Gospel, to commerate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day.
A huge thank you to Rev Park and his team for visiting our school, presenting such an interesting assembly and distributing to the boys and girls the Special edition of John’s Gospel to mark VE Day 2025.
