In Year 6 we have been learning about newspapers, news reports and how journalists find out information to write their stories. This week we focused on what witnesses might say, and how this would be reported. We played with words and punctuation to learn how to structure quotes correctly. We also learnt how to use subordinate clauses with commas to add in extra information to our quotes.
