Beyond the school gates, we explore learning opportunities within the locality of the town. Day trips are made further a field. In the summer term, Year 1 pupils enjoy a farm visit, first hand experience enriching classroom learning. Other educational visits include trips to the World of Owls, Dunluce Castle and Stormont.
The opportunity is open to Year 7 pupils to accept the challenge of a residential trip. This has proved to be a most popular and rewarding visit, especially in terms of personal development.
At Ballymoney Model IPS, educational visits motivate our pupils, enhance their learning and bring the curriculum to life.
