School starts - 9.00am

Morning session - 9.00am – 10.30am (Y1-3) /  9.00am - 10:45am (Y4-7)

Break 10.30am – 10.45am (Y1-3)   /   10:45am - 11:00am (Y4-7) 

Morning session - 10.45am – 12.15pm (Y1-3) / 11:00am - 12:30pm (Y4-7)

Lunch 12.15pm – 1.00pm (Y1-3) / 12:30 - 1:15pm (Y4-7)

Afternoon Session 1.00pm – 2.00pm (Y1-2 and Y3 - Mondays and Tuesdays)

Afternoon Session 1.00/1.15pm – 3.00pm (Y4-7 Monday – Friday)

Breakfast Club

Breakfast has proven to boost children’s concentration skills, which is vital to learning.

Children can take advantage of our Breakfast Club which opens from 8.00am each day. Here children can purchase juice, cereal and toast.

Breakfast Club not only benefits the children, but is useful for working parent who may draw upon this service.

Mid Morning Break

Ballymoney Model is deeply committed to the health and well being of our children. We strive to be a Healthy Eating School and encourage children to bring healthy snacks for break (fruit, vegetables or bread snacks).

Milk is available to order at a nominal charge per term.  

School Meals

School meals currently cost £2.60 per day. School meals are booked and paid for through our school app.

Staying Hydrated

Educational studies have also linked a child's concentration level to hydration.

We encourage all children to bring and fill a separate water bottle to ensure that they have water at their tables throughout their lessons.

Ballymoney Model is currently a nut and egg free school so please carefully check any food brought in.
