Year 6 really enjoyed their informative talk delivered by NI Water. We learned that the average person uses 170 litres of water a day, there are 27,000 underground water pipes in NI and chlorine is added to our water to kill germs.
Anna also told us about the fantastic work that she does as a part of WaterAid in Malawi. We are very lucky that we have instant water that is clean.

On Friday afternoon, Key Stage 2 pupils attended a Christmas carol service at the Hebron Church in Ballymoney. We were treated to carols from Ballymoney Independent Christian School, Castleroe PS, Culcrow PS, Eden PS, Garryduff PS, William Pinkerton Memorial School and even some special Romanian visitors. We performed ‘Away in a Manger’ beautifully for everyone in attendance. Some of our pupils even won prizes in the church’s Christmas quiz! Thank you so much to the Hebron for a lovely carol service, providing us lunch and gifting us with selection boxes.

Year 6 Fortnight.JPG
On Friday 1st March, pupils in Year 6 and 7 took part in two programmes from the Love For Life team. The group sessions and year group workshops were extremely informative and enjoyable, in relation to how they shared information about growing, changing and transitioning to new chapters. Staff and pupil evaluations were very positive and we thank parents and carers for their support in this event.
